Of Love and Wrath
Lately the Tibetan "demonstrations" thoroughly infuriated me. But what angered me even further was the biased report that the western media had shown to their audiences. Those reports blatantly distorted the events, leading the viewers with pure bias regarding the situation in China. As one who could read both Chinese and English fluently, thus was able to read in both sources, I just simply cannot believe channels like BBC and CNN could put on such lies without shame, repeatedly. And they call themselves "free media"—wonderful, that just taught me to never believe in the "free media" again!
Secondly, those Tibetan "peaceful" protesters went on every major city in the Olympic Torch Relay Route, and tried to grab the torch from the atheletes’s hands—-How disrespectful can you be? What right do you have to humiliate those poor atheletes? If you want to demonstrate your right to protest for your so called "freedom", do it some other time! Olympics is not the stage for political propaganda! Oh, and all those countries (Europeans so far) who were considering boycotting the Olympics to pressure China into accepting Tibetan separation, DID YOU THINK ABOUT THOSE AHELETES WHO TRAINED ALL THEIR LIFE FOR THE OLYMPICS?! The Olympic Games are for sportsmen, not for politicians!
Oh and get this: most of those Tibetan demonstrator were not even Tibetans—they’re caucasians—very easy to tell huh. Some of them were rather violent—one even went close to a amputated chinese girl who was carrying the unlighted Olympics torch, tried to grabbed it, and when the girl resisted, he tried to hit her. Not sure if the girl was hit before he was dragged away by the police. Shortly after, another one charged at the girl for the torch.

Good job people! You just made all the Chinese unite even tighter, and changed their views of your country from admiration to hatred.
And what did the western media report on the torch relay clashes? They of course only reported the Tibetan protestors, and reported nothing of the thousands of Chinese foreign students who went to support the Olympic torch out of their own will.
